CHILDREN'S DAY IN
(for children ages 2 through 5½, who are not yet enrolled in kindergarten)

Children’s Day In (CDI) provides your children with a safe and fun learning environment. The program consists of free play, directed activities, snack, Bible stories, and the outdoor playground when weather permits.

Day/Time: Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. until noon
Cost: $15 per day per child
$24 per day for two children
Location: Room 237 (Nursery)
Instructor: Children’s Day In is staffed by capable caregivers who love young children and specialize in early childhood education and socialization. All staff have been screened and obtained all government clearances.

INTRODUCTION TO BALLET: Incorporating Faith and Dance!
(For children ages 3 through 5)

Children will celebrate God’s love for them while learning basic ballet technique. Kids will leap, jump, turn, and smile for God’s love!

Participants will receive an introduction to ballet, which consists of short ballet barre, stretching, and beginner ballet steps. At the end of each class children will hear and explore a short Bible verse that relates to class.

Attire: leotard (any color), tights, ballet slippers, and hair pulled back into a ponytail.


Summer Session 2: July 8 – 29
Saturdays: 9:00 – 9:45 a.m.
Cost: $50 per session  
Location: WROC Fitness Room (above gym)

Maximum: 10 - Due to limited space, payment is required to confirm registration.

*Kiera Pyles has been a competitive dancer for 14 years at Janet Hays and Company. She also attended West Point Ballet and has participated in Point Park’s six-week summer dance intensive for two summers. She has studied in New York at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and New York City Ballet. A recent Upper St. Clair High School graduate, Kiera now attends Point Park University as a dance major with a concentration in jazz.


BRICKS 4 KIDZ CAMP
We learn, we build, we play with LEGO® bricks!
(for boys and girls ages 5-8 and 9-12)

Li’l WROCers will have loads of fun (and learn a bunch!) as they use LEGO bricks in an open, friendly, and team based environment. Bricks 4 Kidz camp will keep the pace fast and varied with guided projects and challenges as well as time for free-play, so the kids are always having fun. Camp activities are geared toward specific age groups and built around themes kids love.

Each day kids will build models based on the camp’s theme, free play with LEGO’s, snack time, and clean up.

*Ross and Andrew have been working with kids in a children-focused business since 2008. Ross has been a coach for youth sports and an instructor for Imagination Yoga. Over the years, Andrew has helped his mom in the Children's Ministry. They are excited to bring a program that allows kids to learn through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity! Bricks 4 Kidz...We Learn, We Build, We Play!



WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED FOR CAMP?



Session 2: August 14 – 18
BAT LEAGUE: HEROES & VILLAINS

Enter the dark city where a dangerous jokester and other evil villains wreak havoc. Thankfully there is a bat hero who comes out each night to fight against these evil-doers! The good guys will ride into action as campers build motorized models of the bat hero’s speedy vehicle and bat girl’s sleek motorcycle. But keep the bat light searching for the evil jokester’s motorized low rider vehicle cruising through the city streets as well. Send the bat hero swinging on his grappling hook technic model from one skyscraper to the next as he fights crime with his trusty super sidekick. Campers will use their imaginations, building skills and crime-fighting passion in this thrilling camp of bat heroes and villains!

BASKETBALL SKILLS and DRILLS BASIC COURSE
(for boys and girls ages 7 - 11)

The course will cover the following skills with your child:

Instructor: Albert Mallah*  
Maximum: 15  

*Albert Mallah is a Westminster church member, with a long career in basketball. After college, he was drafted into the European Basketball League and was one of the top players and scorers in Greece. In addition to playing basketball for 13 years in Europe, he has also coached college and professional level teams.
